Before incarnating, I made agreements with my lineage to revitalize a forgotten ancient technology- ceremony.

I was taken through the veil of the middle world to a place where circles were cut into the earth.

Ushered to the other side of this perfectly symmetrical place, I was beckoned to sit on what looked like, a golden throne, shaped like the woven peacock chairs known to come from my ancestral motherlands of the Philippines. I was asked if I would sit in the seat. It felt cold… abandoned.

Abundant offerings of spice, rice, herbs, and oil were ready to be made to the gods and spirits by people who felt like siblings to me. Each of us dressed in our most beautiful regalia.

They had been waiting for me.

Once I sat in this seat, the ceremony could begin.
